01 — Tiers Pick a tier, or scope a custom plan

Pay for the projects you manage. Not the work we do.

Fair pricing, by design.

Backports stay unlimited on every tier. Capacity is what you pay for — and there's a generous free tier for small portfolios.

03 — FAQ The honest answers

Questions, answered honestly.

Pricing is the place where vague answers cost real trust. Here are the questions we get most often.

Is there a per-backport fee?
No. Backports are unlimited on every tier — including Free. You pay for the size of the portfolio you manage with us, not for the volume of work the agent does. The Anthropic API usage that powers each backport is billed by Anthropic on your own key.
What counts as a project?
A project is one connected source repository — typically one Git repo, one team's service, or one library. Forks, mirrors, and abandoned branches don't count. If you're not sure, we'll help you map it before you commit to a tier.
Why can the free tier afford to be that generous?
Because we're not paying for your Anthropic usage — you are, on your own key. That removes the pressure to put compute-cost gates between you and the agent's output. We can keep Free meaningful (3 projects, unlimited backports) without losing money on it.
How do you handle our Claude API key and Git PATs?
Both are stored encrypted at rest, scoped to your workspace, and only ever decrypted inside the runner that needs them. We never log credentials, and we never send your source code to anyone except the model endpoint that you've pointed your key at. On Custom, the runner can live entirely inside your own network.
Can STC run fully air-gapped?
Yes — on the Custom tier. The runner deploys inside your network, talks only to your model endpoint and your Git host, and emits the audit trail to a destination you control. Useful for regulated environments and government tenants.
Why is the annual discount 20%?
It's the spread we'd otherwise spend on chasing renewals, processing month-to-month churn, and re-onboarding. We'd rather hand it back as a clean discount than dress it up as a promo.
